FIHAB – Flameless Indoor Hot Air Balloon Workshop

FIHAB is a two-day intensive, hands-on aerospace workshop focused on the design, sizing, fabrication, and indoor launch testing of a flameless hot air balloon. Led by Prof. R. K. Pant, the workshop follows a structured engineering approach — calculate, design, build, and test — providing students with practical exposure to buoyancy principles, lightweight structures, and real-time performance evaluation.
